I'm looking for an airfoil with a Cl of 3.0. My plan is to take a current design, keep the same span and hopefully the same weight, and reduce the cord 50% and increase the Cl 100% over the whole range of AoA. My desire for this is because ultralights can be blown around in the wind, and I'd like to increase the wing loading to counter that a bit, but still keep the low stall speed and span loading.

Does such an airfoil exist? I think for stall safety, it would need a large radius leading edge. I also think an undercamber would give more lift, but also more pitching moment, though the shorter cord would reduce that pitching moment. I calculate a 150 sq ft hang glider with total weight 200 pounds stalling at 19mph has a 3D coefficient of lift of 1.5. That is the target I have to beat.

Has anyone else wanted a slow glide speed but with a higher wing loading? The wings might even fold away smaller.
