I found the Pedaliante ( 1937 ) info very interesting.

Most HPAs are at least 17 meter spanning and 30-40 kilos...but Pedaliante was 100 kg.

What is you opinion...could a 12 meter spanning HPA be doable ? What would it take...how would it look like ?

Could it also be self operated..ie no-one keeps the wing level at take off.
