    Almost, affordable powerplant....

    Saw this at the boat show recently. I really like the idea of the "closed cooling"- yeah traditional radiator is "closed cooling"- maybe should read "compact"
    Too bad its not cheap...

    I see nothing special about a 557 hp engine that weighs a thousand pounds and costs $70K. Even if all one used was the V8 powerhead he'd still need a redrive.

    Much cheaper and better to just use an aircraft engine.
