What do you guys think a single seat plane should have/do to justify designing one; for example, I'm thinking that a person doesnt really need an single seat plane (unless it's specificly built for something.. like racing, fighter, something else special/specific, etc...) as far as designing one goes, unless it's small, like can fit in a single car garage, and is cheap to operate/maintain. It just wouldnt make any since to me to build a big o' plane that burns 20+Gph or something and all your doing is flying around.

What requirments, would you guys say, a small GA type plane like this should meet? Should it be able to carry a certain amount of cargo to make up for its lack of another seat, and/or should it be able to fly a certian distance... should it be able to fly aerobatics.. go REALLY fast.. takeoff and land in 200' or less or something??

I'd just like to see what you all would expect out of a single seat plane before you'd be interested in it.

Thanks :)
