Correct me if I'm wrong: 2 cycle engines such as Rotax with gear reduction spins the prop counterclockwise (when viewed from cockpit), while 4 cycles, (including auto engines converted to aircraft use such as VW's and Model A Pietenpols) spin the prop clockwise.

Is it difficult (or even possible) to set up a 2-cycle engine to spin the prop clockwise?

(assume conventional front-engined aircraft)
