Howdy.... I'm wondering what sort of effect gull wings bring to an airplane. Usually an aircraft has its wings gulled for reasons other than flight performance (I think) and I'd like to know gull wings affect an aircraft in flight, other than "it doesnt improve it".
If anybody knows that is.
Also.. is there generally a set number of degrees of gull? How does an inverted gull differ from an upright gull? Does "Theory of wing sections" speak of this any??
