I'm posting this in the hangar, because it's just an Idea.
It's either crazy, and wont work, or someone's already done it, and google just doesn't know about it.

How about using Harley Davidson cylinders and heads, to build a 9 cylinder single row, or an 18 cylinder double row radial engine?
All you would have to do is CNC a pair of cases, and a midplate, if you wanted a double row.
It's just an Idea, but after seeing the prices of the russian M-14 radial, there has to be a way to build a high horsepower reliable radial engine for alot less than what they want for the russian engine.
I have Ideas for the crank and rod assembly, including the master rod(s)
Just throwing the Idea up for someone to shoot down.
