    Wow, this plane will be a show stopper when it's finished and flying. Like most people, I'm really looking forward to first flight pics and video.

    From what I've seen, not yet. The plan seems to be early next year for the first flight.

    what's been the slowdown ? airframe + engines seem to have been ready years ago.
    Is there that much little bits that need to be sorted, was there some technical drawbacks or just build time lacking ?
    Can't wait to see it in the air !

    As they always say, the last 10% of the work takes 90% of the time...

    Even a 1/3 scale replica B-17 is an extremely complex airplane, with lots of systems and details to get finished.
