Every time I think I may have narrowed down the choices for my first homebuilt. I find something else that catches my eye.

Let me just say that I've got my mind pretty much set on an all aluminum plans built aircraft. I was going to go the prefab kit route, but none that I like are in my budget. Going with plans and raw materials seems more economical to me although I may be proven wrong on that.

Today I came across the Thatcher CX-4 all metal aircraft. Real nice looking plane. Anyone have any experience around these single place all metal planes?
