Hi everyone,

I'm new to the site. I'm considering building an airplane from scratch but can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. What I'm after is an all-metal, high wing 4 place airplane that can be built from plans. I would also settle for an all-metal 2 place high wing plane with enough useful load to take off with 2 adults, luggage and full fuel. The Zenith CH801 is close to what I am looking for, but it is only available in kit form, not from plans. I'm considering a CH701 but I think the useful load will be a little low and the cost of the Rotax 912 is high. I've looked into the Bearhawk as well, but it seems complicated and time consuming to build (lots of welding required) and I'd prefer all metal to tube and fabric. Does anybody know of a plans built airplane that meets my criteria?

Thanks
Randy
