Our dear colleague Orion (Bill Husa) was working on a race plane at the time of his passing. He had nicknamed it "Gumbo" and I had the privilege of Bill showing me over it when I visited his facility a few years back.

I was surfing Barnstormers (as we diehard enthusiasts do) and found an advertisement from what looks to be the owner of Gumbo, seeking an A&P to help finish it off. I dearly hope that the owner is successful and that Gumbo graces the skies of Reno, as Bill had planned.

Perhaps there is someone from our HBA family that might be interested in taking this job on. It's a paying job for about 1 year according to the advertisement.

Here is the photo from the Barnstormers advertisement.

Bill mate, you are gone but not forgotten.
