New here, please bear with my ignorance! Living in Phoenix years ago, we often saw this unusual helicopter spraying cotton crops. A friend at work described it as having been built for our military. Unfortunately, I did not take any pics of it back then, but ferreted out this one on-line. The crop-duster had a gas turbine engine, exhaust duct facing rearward, fixed, about 10 inches in diameter. The rotors counter-rotated, not very fast, at speed they were nearly visible, perhaps 300 rpm or so, strange-sounding, not very loud.
