Does anyone have experience with one or both craft? I have heard that both are excellent fliers and are fairly affordable to build and fly. I am looking to build my first plane and while I like the additional gross and cabin room of the F12A, the Piel Emeraude certainly has me intrigued. I don't plan to do much aerobatics with it but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be fun to fly. I would like something to travel in as i am several states removed from my friends and family and often am required to travel for training with my work. Hanger rates where i live are very reasonable so i don't worry too much about having a place to build a wood framed airplane and would prefer to not have to spend a fortune tooling up to do metal or composite work as i already have a good bit of wood working tool. Always appreciate thorough and objective input:)
