All and all, the Volkswagon engine seems like a reasonable powerplant for many LSA's! My two questions are: Has the later, liquid cooled (Vanagon) engine been used with any success (looks like a Rotex if you squint)? And, most VW induction systems that I've seen are carburated. Has the later, air cooled, fuel injected engines been used with any success? I had a FI, two liter, engine in my Type II bus years ago and it ran great. I could go on, but I won't. I'll just wait for some answers.
