I need info on this stuff, where do I find it? just wondering what kind of metal is used for prop shaft when using something other than direct drive. Needs to be machinable to cut keyways for pulleys etc. I'm thinking drill rod but haven't gone digging for info yet. Info on size of shaft needed for given torque. And how about bearings? needs both thrust and regular aircraft grade bearings on it I'm sure. Suppliers?
