Re: IS there an interest in low RPM High HP V-6,8,10,12?

Hi Pepsi, I have an interest in a high power direct drive V8. I've been doing a little CG figuring on my design and made it so I can put a heavy engine near the CG. Your a knowledgeable fellow, so hopefully you (or someone) can tell me what one of those Detriot diesels weighs? You know, like if I were to take the big turbo diesel out of my neighbor's 350 pickup twuck, how much would that weight, everything stock? I can use an engine of up to 800 lb, or more if there was a good reason. It would be so cool to taxi by in my little teeny airplane, so small that it looks like a VariEze with all the wings taken off and triangular wing tips added, making that big diesel idling sound
