Re: Murphy Rebel Oil Filter
Hi, You might have a look at something like a remote oil filter bracket. They make one for cars. Places like JC Whitney sell them. Then you could put the filter in-line with the oil cooler. Since it is hose connected, you could put it most anywhere you have room. I think the bracket will accept an aircraft oil filter. On the other hand, a lot of airplane engines make it all the way to TBO and beyond with only the oil screen installed. Change the oil every 25 hours and you are good to go! Use Shell 15W50, it has better corrosion protection than the straight weight oil. Best wishes, Wally |
