O.K. I may be way off base, so looking for advice. I'm thinking of 4 independent ignitions for a 4 cylinder engine...4 pickups, 4 cdi's, 4 cops, etc.
Now I understand that (from parts count) that increases the odds of failure. But, if there is a failure, there would be some percentage of power remaining that *might* get you back to an airport. With a single system, a failure leaves you with NO power.
Any thoughts ?
