Hi, I am planning on building a Dakota Hawk starting in spring. What is your opinion on using the Hummel 4 cylnder vw engine. They list their 2400cc engine as 85hp. Seems about right for a Dakota Hawk. I would like to install an o-200, but those are prohibitively expensive. An o-235 would be nice (115hp), but weigh about 50 - 75lbs too much. Also I can't see spending double on the Aero-vee turbo for an extra 15 hp.

Thoughts?
