I have read that the Rotax 912 is not susceptible to carb icing, and that no carb heat is necessary on this engine.
Does anyone have any experience either way?
Does anyone know of a method of installing a carb heat sensor on the Bing 64 carb on the 912 Rotax?
I have read of a carb heater for the Rotax 912 that circulates fluid from the cooling system through a small "plate" that mounts between the carb and the intake manifold.
Does anyone have any experience with this unit?
Is anyone aware of a better method of providing carb heat?
Thanks!
