Buy an aluminum Type I case without the cylinder studs drilled. Buy new Type IV heads and cut them in half and make new bolt on rocker boxes (machine off the old ones). Drill case for Type IV stud pattern, then use 103 mm barrels and an 84 mm crank. You get 170 ci and 94 hp @ 0.55 hp per ci. The Type IV heads are thermally much better than the Type Is and hot rodders have built engines this size before. This engine should weigh no more than 180 lb. Rocker boxes might look like below (one pattern for both):
