At some point in time I'm going to want to re-paint my Tango. I probably won't do this anytime soon, but I was curious to the process involved. With aluminum birds, I know they are typically stripped bare, etched, primed, then painted for the most part. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the same solvents on a composite airframe. I suppose sanding could work, but I'd hate to see them sand too deep into the glass.
So, how do they normally strip a composite plane?
