Finishing up a Barracuda but concerned about the over center mechanism in the front grear. Don't want to have the front gear fold back on landing.

Can't find any info on what force is required for the suggested bungie cord on the overcenter mechanism. Can get the gear to fall and latch with no hydraulic in static condition but what about the wind drag in flight.

Any ideas on force and or some form of saftey latch to guarantee the over center mechanism can't collapse!

Any info would be greately appreciated.

Thanks

Gary
