I have seen several Rotax owner's manuals and service info sheet but I am still a bit confused about what the correct coolant might be. I'm certain it says it should be silica free, but the coolant they mention (BASF and it is something "like" glycol, but spelled differently) is something I haven't found. Would the green-ish/yellow-ish Prestone ethylene glycol automotive antifreeze/coolant be OK? I would have to check a bottle again, but I think it's labled as being silica free and compatible with an aluminum engine.
