I have found the highest Stock Skidoo/Rotax Single ever made, a 1971, 340, Type 336 (78.5mm x 70mm) 338.8cc that made 36hp, still trying to nail down the HP at RPM Rating (6500-7000 I think) and the CR. The 292 TNT used a 10.5cr for 31hp, so I'm thinking the 340 used the same 10.5cr.

A 335 Single is (78mm x 70mm) 334.5cc, rated 20hp with a 9.0cr. So it could be Bored to 78.5mm, and the Head shaved to raise the CR to 10.5cr to duplicate the 340. With a good modern 2/3 Stage Tuned Pipe designed for 6500rpms, they could make even more HP.

36hp alone would cover most Ultralight's.

I have to weigh my 1972 335 to compare it against my 277.

277(268.8cc) 26hp 268.8cc/7cc = 38.4hp is possible at 6500rpms.

340(338.8cc) 36hp 338.8cc/7cc = 48.4hp is possible at 6500rpms.

292(292cc) 31hp 291.6cc/7cc = 41.6hp is possible at 6500rpms.
(75mm x 66mm) 291.6cc

335E has Electric Start.
