I'm looking at a Spectrum Beaver powered by a Rotax 503, dual carbs, but single point ignition. (I think, the listing is in French - LOL) I currently own Chinook powered by a Rotax 582 with dual CDI which has proven to be very reliable so far.

What do I need to know about the point ignition system? I think I read somewhere once that I'll have to adjust the points every 20 hours or so...? What's the procedure for that? What else should I be looking at to keep the engine running reliably?

Thanks!
