So my 277 has oil on the spark plug. I know a 2 stroke engine is prone to this but I noticed that mine has quite a bit on it. It's as though the plug was dipped in oil and then hung up to let the excess oil drip off for a minute. I've attached a pic but I had trouble getting it to focus in macro mode. There is also some oil leaking out from around where the exhaust mounts up to the engine block. Is this normal for a 30 year old 2 stroke or is something afoot? Thanks!
