Rotax 582 overhaul

I spoke with a Rotax dealer and he sent me to a guy who knows 582s. This guy, Chuck, said that an overhaul is $3500 and it needs to be done around 300 hrs. $3500/300= $11.66/hr That is expensive.

Does this sound right?
