    McCulloch 6 cyl Drone Engine

Didn't know that McCulloch made a 6 cylinder engine. Seen lots of photos of 4 cylinder units, but found this engine at the Kansas Aviation Museum in Wichita, Kansas.

Wow--142 lbs, 125 HP (two-stroke and at 4100 RPM). That would sure liven up your typical Sonex/Sonerei/KR2, and might be quite the high-altitude performer with that turbo. At least for the 90 minutes the fuel lasted.

    Hearing protection: highly encouraged.

You mean the 90 minutes the engine lasted?

Though to be fair, their 4 cylinder drone engines have long been used in homebuilts, particularly the Bensen gyros.
